Through Gates of Splendor by Elisabeth Elliot

Sobering read. The faith of the missionaries in this book is amazing. We should all pray for faith and trust in God as they had. If we lost loved ones to an Indian tribe we would all want revenge. From the book:

“Revenge, the thought never crossed the mind of one of the wives or other missionaries.”

So hard for us to fathom faith and trust in God’s will like this.
