Why do so many charismatic worship songs use the "valley of dry bones/dry bones rattling" language?
They're using it out of context to declare things in their lives and brings things into reality by singing/speaking them over their lives. This is bad theology and a wrong use of scripture and it drives me crazy when I hear it in so many songs! I found this resource helpful:
Ezekiel 37 reveals truths we can learn about God’s ways and character. Nonetheless, this passage is not for us to use for our own personal desires or purposes, such as how some “declare and decree” success as in the false Word of Faith movement. Instead, Ezekiel 37 is a specific prophetic word meant for the nation of Israel to give them hope and knowledge of God’s promises for their future. - source
