Amazing telling of what happened with the next generation after the book Through Gates of Splendor where the son of one of the missionaries who was speared to death goes to live with the natives who killed his father, to help them create a sustainable life in the modern world.

Gripping and gruesome scenes, funny and heartwarming scenes. This retelling of true events was a great read that filled in a lot of the gaps left unknown after reading Through Gates of Splendor.
