- We are to grow in knowledge in order to grow in maturity
- All church authority is derived from the Bible
- Teaching - passing on knowledge, realines thinking
- Without knowledge you can't build anyone up
- A failure to pursue scripture is a failure to love others
- Children are usually unable to fully reason, vulnerable to deception
- Deceit is trying to get you to believe in something that is false
- If you're in sin, you've believed a lie
- Speak the truth in love dosen't mean say it in a loving way, but out of love you say hard things
- Life is driven by doctrine, what you believe will determine how you live, and how you live shows what you believe
- Doctrine is practice
- Build biblical truth into one another
- How do we do it?
- Read the Bible
- Learn to receive love and discipleship from others
- Take Sundays seriously
