Mark 2 | The Swedish Method

💡 When they lower the paralytic down through the roof the thought comes to mind, how rude was that to destroy the man’s roof and bust in past the crowd out of turn, but this is very wrong thinking. They did these things out of desperation to help the paralytic and change his life forever from the healing power of God through Jesus Christ.
Jesus saw their action as faith. His value system is perfect and true.
- Mark 2:5
And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."

➡️ The fact that I have that thought shows how upside down my values are because we should always value a person over property or rudeness.

❓ What do these verses mean?
Mark 2:20-22
20 The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day.
21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made.
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins-and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins."
