Great book. Full of solid nuggets on why and how to pursue holiness. Unlike what you hear in most Christian songs these days this quote stood out to me as true when you read the bible:

"God wants us to walk in obedience, not victory. Obedience is oriented toward God. Victory is oriented toward yourself. Until we face this attitude and deal with it, we will not walk consistently in holiness. Victory is a byproduct of obedience. Concentrate on obedience."

It's not about you! As Christians we are called to die to ourselves and this world, not OVERCOME it and BE STRONG and Victorious. A fresh breath of truth is blown through these great pages. Christians should give this one a read, especially if they've bought into the false gospel spread all around that we follow God for our own good so that our lives will be great. I appreciated all the great truths shared in this book.
