Ch. 1 v. 3-5 ➡️ comforted by God through affliction, that we may comfort others in affliction, comfort as we rest in God's rule | v. 6 💡 comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure sufferings - this is a comfort found WHEN you experience suffering, interesting | v. 8-9 ➡️ utterly burdened, despaired of life itself, felt we recieved the sentence of death, but that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God - so powerful! | v. 11 ➡️ prayer is a way to help people | v. 20 💡 all God's promises find their fulfillment in Jesus | v. 22 💡 his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee
Ch. 2 v. 2 Paul had to rebuke them, but did so with many tears, not to cause them pain but out of love - pretty cool | vv. 15 💡 we are the aroma, like a sacrifice pleasing to God Paul offers his life to God
Ch. 3 v. 6 💡 the spirit gives life | vv. 15-16 💡 only through Christ is the veil taken away, when one turns to the LORD | v. 17 💡 where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom | v. 18 💡 HIGHLIGHT sanctification

Ch. 5 v. 1 ➡️ what an amazing reality that should lead us to truth and boldness in sharing the gospel and living for God! | v. 5-7 💡 incredible truths!!! | v. 11 ➡️ persuade others, evangelism | v. 14-15 💡 amazing | v. 17 HIGHLIGHT anyone in Christ is a new creation! | v. 19 ➡️ entrusting to us the message of reconciliation, a message we've been entrusted with - let us be faithful to share it! | v. 21 HIGHLIGHT sinless Jesus
Ch. 6 v. 16 💡 we are the temple of the living God | v. 17 ➡️ be separate from them, a call to be holy unto the Lord | v. 18 💡 promise of God - he'll be a father to us
Ch. 7 v. 1 ➡️ cleanse ourselves, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God, sanctification | v. 6 God comforts the downcast, a promise to hold onto | v. 8-9 Paul rejoiced that they grieved into repenting | v. 10 💡 HIGHLIGHT
Ch. 8 vv. 2-3 amazing generosity and love | v. 9 by Christ’s poverty we might become rich, amazing!
