Peaks and Valleys

Posting this a day late, this is for 7/14/22.

Today was another day of highs and lows. Seth walked around outside and ran into one of the men who work for the neighborhood. They spoke, practicing Spanish, for well over an hour. It was really encouraging to Seth. The people are so friendly here. Kadi went out to Pricemart (Costco) with Melanie and Maggie. She spent most of the day with them shopping for many more items we needed for our house. It’s quite a drive so it takes most of the day. Furniture for storing clothes, and all kinds of things. More hours of putting stuff together. Seth and Jasmine went to Youth Group at Calvary Chapel. They had fun, but were expecting there to be more Americans there. Only one guy introduced himself to them and most of the people spoke Spanish. Learning Spanish will make everything easier. Seth read and took notes on Matthew chapters 4-6. I made notes in my Bible on Matthew 1.
